Excel Sheets & Me

busy..busy..

Doing up the final planning for CG event later.. using Excel to collate number of bicycles..cost.. reimbursements for the drivers etc.. But I like the adrenaline of being busy! haha. Since school ended, I have been quite relaxed. Just going for SOT and tuitions.. Time to get busy! Glory is released through hard work. Actually, I like being busy.. I used to like packing my schedules tight! It makes me feel purposeful..of course, must be busy with the right stuff la. But nowadays, I will feel kinda frustrated if I cannot find time to meet Terence, so I shall aim to pack my schedule tight but with little gaps in between to go out!

anyway, I am thinking of how useful a netbook will be.. Seems like there’s always a lot of attendance to collate and I like using Excel to tabulate and update. So nice if I have a small and nice netbook to whip out on the go. I am off now! need to collate BK’s attendance for the weekend! ha!

  • i was thinking of a netbook too, but i don’t want to haul around an extra thing all day. then one day, i saw people in my lectures using their palm pilots to take notes! there’s this small, retractable keyboard that they take out and attach to their palm pilots, and from there they have a full size keyboard to take notes, without having to lug around a laptop! i’m sure you could use the same set up for excel.

if i do ever cave and get a netbook one day, it’ll run linux, because i cannot bear the thought of going back to windows. unless apple comes out with a netbook. can’t wait til end of 2009/2010, when i’m planing to get a new macbook. :D

  • haha. or get a macbook air dear!
hehe! my brother wants to buy a new macbook pro EOY, so i might take over his current macbook pro.

  • i really want a macbook air, but i’m a bit hesitant to actually get one because it only has 1 USB port, and doesn’t have an ethernet port. i think i will want my laptop to be my primary computer, so without those, it doesn’t quite qualify. alack and alas.
